It's time to check your dating pulse.   Ladies, we have put together a tool to actually measure your dating acumen. Below are a number of scenarios; read each one and then make a selection as to how you would respond.   When you're finished, I'll talk to you about your responses, and explain why some are better or worse than others, and what you can do to improve your chances of dating success!!   So, onward and upward, my friends!     1) You are at a local, rather upscale bar that is fairly crowded as it is a Thursday evening. You are standing with your girlfriend in a throng that is three-deep from the bar. On the other side of the bar is a cute, "your type" kind of guy. You make eye contact and smile at one another. Your heart goes a-flutter and you can feel yourself turning red. But then he breaks eye-contact and goes back to talking to his make friend.       A. Go back to talking to your girlfriend and forget about him.     B. Talk to your girlfriend and set your sights on someone else.     C. Start making your way to the other side of the bar to say "Hi."     D. Buy him a drink, and make sure the waitress tells him from whence it came.             2) There's this man you like -- a lot -- and you've been out with him a few times. It seems to you that you get along well, but you cannot tell if he likes you as much as you hope he does. What can you do?       A. Tell him: "I really like you. Do you like me too?""     B. Tell him you are really physically attracted to him, and then touch his shoulder.     C. Say: "You are sending some serious electricity my way," and then laugh     D. Ask him to go to meet your parents (kids, brothers, sisters) and see how he responds 3) You're in a very long line at Starbuck's, but fortunately, there is this really awesome guy in line in front of you and you strike up a conversation. You joke and flirt, and you are sure he likes you. Soon you will be at the counter; you want to see him again. What do you do?     A. Say "Coffee here next Friday at 9."   B. Ask him to join you right then and there.   C. Give him your phone number   D. With a twinkle in your eye, hand him a pen and simply say "Write down your number         4) It is your second "date" with this hot guy you really like, and you are going for a stroll in the park. He does not take your hand, which you would really like him to do. What do you do about it?     A. You do nothing except continue being your funny, vivacious, charming self.   B. You "trip" and grab is arm to "steady" yourself, except you don't let go.   C. A.You ask him to take your hand.   D. You laugh about the lions, tigers, and bears in the park and tell him you need his protection. Them you grab his hand         5) You are taking a wine-tasting class at the local community center, and there is this incredibly handsome, funny, sexy guy in the class. You've joked around some in the class, and even toasted one another over a glass or two of wine. You are pretty sure he likes you by the way he responds when you walk in the room. It is the last class. He has not asked you out. It's now or never: what do you do?     A. Tell him you've really enjoyed his company in this class and would like to get to know her better over dinner.   B. Give him your phone number and say, call me sometime.   C. Ask him if he would join you for some continued education at a local wine bar. Give him a date and time.   D. Tell him that you like him -- a lot -- and ask him if he is attracted to you, too.
